4,000 seems kind of small, what does Dwenger, Carroll and Homestead stadiums seat? Maybe the 4,000 is max for the space, If they put where I think they would.

BTF replied to Komets2727's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum

That's good news. I would have thought at least 5000 being a 6A football program, but they'll take what they can get. Kudos to FWCS for getting this done.

Komets2727 posted a topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum

It was just announced at the Snider board meeting that Snider will be building a 4,000 seat football stadium at the school. This will include the relocation of the tennis courts to Lane Middle School, relocation of all current bleachers to North Side High School. If I knew how to copy and paste I would. I am sure someone on here will be able to do it

Sorry, I don't subscribe to the "lesser of two evils" theory when it comes to voting. If no candidate, uni-party or third-party, subscribes to what I believe is important then I write-in a candidate or I don't vote for that office. It is not a horse race.

God I hope not. It was bad enough having to hear THAT song after every run they scored; not just in this series with Evansville, but also with IU.

Same can be said of Kokomo and Lafayette Jeff. Jeff had the advantage of playing not only much smaller schools, but also playing both the sectional and regional on their home court.

    21. NIL on the high school level

WestfieldRocks replied to Irishman's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum

The NCAA got caught with their pants down on the NIL issue. I remember the first year with some local IU and Purdue players getting some spending money from t-shirt sales with their name and likeness. The NCAA had no idea that these collectives would quickly form and bring in huge $$$ to essentially buy players.

    22. Championships are they all equal

WestfieldRocks replied to Trojanmp52's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum

Agreed. The old Butler sectional in the 60's was a monster with 14 teams. Southport I believe had 11 teams during that time. All Marion County schools north of Washington St. played at Butler, and south of Washington St. played at Southport. Today teams can win a sectional by just winning two games. In fact, with a bye, a team can win a class tournament by winning only 6 games. That old Butler sectional took 4 wins just to get out of there. Most all other sectionals were 8 teams, thus three wins were required, so 9 wins to win state.
