Balionis inadvertently fueled speculation about her marital status with a recent Instagram post from the Wells Fargo Championship. Sporting a laid-back ensemble consisting of a green tee and black business casual pants, she accessorized with a Rolex on her left wrist and several bracelets on her right.

But golf fans quickly noticed that the sports reporter was once again not wearing her wedding ring, adding more fodder to the ongoing discussion about her relationship status. In response to Balionis's Instagram post, one fan humorously commented, "Amanda back on the market." Another fan inquired about the whereabouts of her wedding ring, asking, "Where is the big rock?"

Golf enthusiasts also observed that all previous mentions of Renner were scrubbed from her social media profiles. Additionally, her name reverted from "Amanda Renner" to "Amanda Balionis" on her platforms.

The PGA Championship unfolded with significant storylines beyond Balionis's ring saga. Among them was Scottie Scheffler's encounter with the Louisville police, where he was detained and handcuffed outside Valhalla Golf Club on Friday before the second round. Despite this, Scheffler rebounded impressively, posting a 65 on Sunday to tie for 8th place in the tournament.

Adding to the drama, Rory McIlroy made headlines by filing for divorce from his wife, Erica, just a day after securing his 26th PGA Tour victory and on the eve of the event. McIlroy's performance in the tournament saw him tie for 12th place, trailing the winner, Xander Schauffele, by nine strokes. Schauffele clinched his maiden major title with a one-shot victory, capping off a memorable event.
