  • Phyllis Rose Noga of Doylestown died peacefully on Thursday May 18, 2023 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her family throughout. She was 92 years old. The family was blessed to have all been together last Saturday at one of her grandson’s wedding. Phyllis looked beautiful and enjoyed being surrounded by all of her children and grandchildren. Phyllis was the devoted wife of Edward for 63 years. She is survived by eight children, Michele and Jim Dulin, Eddie (deceased) and Babette Noga, Patti Kelly and Ron Fritz, Tom and Mari-Jo Noga, Joanne and Ron DeLucrezia, Jim Noga and Nancy Myers, Terry and Dave Trainer, Rick and Ana Noga, and Michael Noga. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Phyllis was a devout catholic and her faith was very important to her. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. She and her high school sorority sisters met regularly for more than 75 years. Phyllis also looked forward to playing cards each month with her Warminster girlfriends. The card club has been together for more than 50 years. Phyllis’ children and their families are all very close. This was a source of pride and great enjoyment for her. She will be missed by all of them. Services will be held at St Robert Bellarmine Church, Warrington Viewing Tuesday, May 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Viewing Wednesday, May 24 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Funeral Mass immediately following.   • Mrs. Mary Rose Noga, 77 of N. Utica passed away on Tuesday July 3, 2007 at her home after a long illness. Mary was born in Utica on March 8, 1930 the daughter of John and Veronica (Mulkerin) Moorehead. She was raised in Utica, attended St. Patrick's grade school and was a graduate of Utica Catholic Academy. On November 26, 1949 Mary married Edward J. Noga in Utica a union of 23 years until Edward's death in 1972. At one time she was employed with General Electric Company and most recently with Hamilton Digital Controls until her retirement. Mary was a member of the N. Utica Senior Center and a parishioner of St. Joseph St. Patrick Church in Utica. She enjoyed bowling and taking trips to the casino. Mrs. Noga is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Edward J. Noga, Jr., Cold Brook, and Thomas and Lauri Noga, Whitesboro; two beloved grand daughters, Jessica Noga and Sarah Noga both of Whitesboro; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Bonnie Moorehead, Rome and William and Patricia Moorehead, Whitesboro; three sisters-in-law, Frances Lockwood, Oswego, Helen Sinker, Yorkville and Lillian Bourgoin, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, John Noga in 1972, brother, John Moorehead and sister-in-law, Mary Townsend. Mrs. Noga's funeral will be held on Friday July 6, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph St. Patrick Church where her mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Mt.   • Joseph Frank Noga, 91 of Homer City (Formerly of Clune) passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, peacefully at his home. A son of Stanley and Stefania (Dumana) Noga, he was born January 22, 1924 in Clune. Mr. Noga graduated from Elders Ridge High School. He joined the Navy in World War II, serving on several ships, including DD-421, the USS Benson, and DE-238, the USS Sturtevant (during the Korean War) as an EM2 (electrician’s mate). After WWII, he worked at Torrance State Hospital, then worked for R & P Coal Mines, retiring after 35 years in the mines. In 1951, he married Jennie Louise (Penko) Noga. They shared over 60 years of marriage, traveling to both Poland and Slovenia visiting relatives. She preceded him in death on January 11, 2012. He was a great fan of Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Steelers and Pirates. A smooth dancing duo with his wife, Jennie, they enjoyed going to polka dances, locally and at the SNPJ picnic grounds in Enon Valley. Mr. Noga was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent. He was a member of the VFW Post 1989 in Indiana, a life member of the C & Y Sportsman Club in Shelocta, the American Legion Post 0057 in Saltsburg (over 50 years as a member), a loyal member of UMWA Local 1412 for many years, and also SNPJ Lodge 223. Surviving are his family of four children: Joseph A. Noga, of Blairsville; Joann M. (Noga) Sharek and husband John, of Elderton; Janice L. (Noga) Kochman and husband Stephen, of Indiana; and Jeanne M. Noga,...
