“So happy to have finally found a GOOD Korean spot with authentic flavors in Bergen county. The service was really great here. The people are very friendly. The decor and ambiance was welcoming and place was pretty clean. We ordered veggie dumplings for app, crab meat bibimbap, bulgogi with vermicelli noodles lunch special and kalbi with vermicelli noodles lunch social. All dishes were really great. I highly recommend trying their bulgogi.“

“I BBQ and smoke meats at home but don't always feel like doing a 12hr brisket cook. Saw this place nearby and figured to give it a try. The Korean fixings on top of traditional BBQ went great. Got the brisket sandwich and it was delicious. Corn bread was really good too.Was expecting to order takeout but ended up sitting inside. They but had a decent amount of tables. It also had table service which was unexpected. Service was excellent and really appreciated the conversation and genuine help. Definitely will be going back.“

“For a first time visit, I thoroughly enjoyed this place! My boyfriend and I went for our 1 year celebration and we enjoyed the food and Milkis! “My 1st time having Korean fried chicken. Been wanting to have it for a long time. Came across this gem and I'm a fan.Chicken is fried fresh to order so please be patient. I ordered the 5pc Golden original just so I can taste the overall flavor. Nicely fried to a crispy and juicy texture. The guy at the register Kim bought me over a side of their Secret Sauce to try it. Not too sweet or spicy but it's sticky. The 1st time having pickled daikon also. Very refreshing and a palate cleanser. Love it“

“My daughter found this place online and suggested we go. She wanted to try the banana milk. So glad we went. I ordered the chicken wings with soy garlic sauce. They were delicious. I also tried the rice cakes yummy and the sweet spicy shrimp. They did not disappoint. Delicious. Will definitely go back. Oh, we also got the banana milk. Lol“

“First time at Sushi Story - and it is amazing! I went in for lunch and asked the server for recommendations. After my ginger salad, she brought me Tuna Tataki, which was perfectly prepared and had a touch of smokiness. I couldn’t decide between Seared Salmon Sushi or the River Roll, so I ordered both. It was the best decision ever! The salmon was freshly prepared and melted in my mouth. The Spicy Tuna was delicious and had just a touch of kick, which complimented the richness of the fish. All dishes were fresh, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, helpful, and courteous, by both the server and the chef, who checked on my satisfaction with the meal. “Seen this place on YouTube by a food reviewer. We’re visiting the area so I definitely had it on my list of places to try. I ordered the salt and pepper wings sweet and spicy with a side of rice and fries. The standout in this order are the sweet and spicy wings.I could’ve eaten just a 10 pc of that flavor alone. “I normally write reviews for the readers, but today, this review is directed to the owner. Your fried chicken is worth the trouble of finding parking. I had the 10pc bloom drumsticks half w/Soy Garlic and the other half in S.O.S. Korean Spicy. I would even go as far as saying any of the sauces are worth a parking ticket. I was also super impressed with the size of the drumsticks! I was full after just 4, and thankfully, otherwise I would have been tempted to eat my napkin just to relish the flavor. I'm also grateful I arrived with family, since they ordered additional items, like the bloom wings, truffle fries, pork dumplings, and wasabi coleslaw. I got to try almost everything and nothing disappointed...not one thing. Thank you for offering to provide me my order as it became available for the members of my family vs. waiting for all of it to finish, that was very considerate of you and unexpected. I saw how polite you were to everyone that entered to order and for pick-up. We waited a little less than 25 minutes for the order to be complete and considering the size of our order, that was impressively fast! I just want to add that I also noticed you sacrificed your kitchen space to provide extra room for your guest, hats off to you sir! The seating space at the entrance is ample, the decor is trendy, the food was amazing, your attitude was great and even the bathroom was clean. “Our family's favorite korean chicken place to order from!! Try the cheesling flavor as I have not seen this available in other korean chicken places and it is finger lickin good. You will never experience this flavor in any regular American chicken places.Also the classic soy garlic flavor is savory and sweet.We can never decide which flavor to order so we go with a whole chicken half and half.Their portion is generous and their seasoning is just right. “Nice Korean fried chicken spot. 1) This place is a little different from other Korean fried chicken shops. They only have boneless and chicken wings. There are no options for chicken drums. 2) I really enjoyed the soy garlic chicken wings. Next time I will try their spicy options. 3) Note: This is mainly a take out spot. They have one table with 2 seats. However, their rest room was very nice and clean.“

“Drove 40 minutes and it was all worth the trip. So happy that we came. Food is perfect. The goodbap was loaded with sumptuous beef and bones. The taste and texture was just right. The wings are consistently a general size, and always incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.The K-Ramen is nice and spicy and delicious! Michin dumplings are a go to dish. “This place is WONDERFUL. I came here with my son after spending the afternoon at Urban Air Adventure Park. We got two half box orders of boneless thighs (original crispy and soy garlic/sweet & spicy), fries, and water. The chicken took about 15-20 minutes to cook, but it was well worth the wait. My son (the pickiest eater in the world) LOVED the boneless thighs, and even the French fries. I thought everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The flavors were all fantastic, with the soy garlic being my favorite. The fries were also some of the best fries I've ever had. Super crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The food also came with Cole slaw which was DELICIOUS, and I say this as someone who normally strays away from Cole slaw.Customer service was excellent. The woman at the front was very friendly and clear with describing the food. Their presentation was top notch also. The food was packaged beautifully and even the bag it came in was just really well designed. It was like opening a holiday gift of delicious food. I would highly recommend paying this place a visit, although you'll probably have to do take out since they have limited seating. That's probably the only downside I can think of, but they still deserve 5 stars overall“

“The Honey Day Cafe has amazing food and the Korean-brunch fusion is something I haven't tried before finding this place. The K-chicken and waffles are really good, great flavor and the mochi waffles make it really unique. Huge selection of coffee drinks which are also really good. I've dined in and got food to-go before and it's always been really quick, even if it's busy. Highly recommend giving it a try!“

“Update: Dropped to 4 stars. What's up with the young Asian dude working the phone and register. Called in a simple lunch order, it was like talking to a zombie, and no thank you. Ok, picked up the food, paid and again no, thank you. Called back to inform him they are under portioning soy sauce. Again, guy didn't even respond to my polite delivery of information, I wasn't upset or angry. I'll take my order with a side of courtesy next time please. Thank you.Previous: This is my go to sushi spot. Food is great. We love the rolls. Fish is always fresh and delicious. Salmon skin roll is really well done. We like the ponzu tuna app and dumplings. The sashimi dinner is a lot of fish. I actually don't order it bc I like my fish sliced thinner, they give big think slices which is a good value, but not my preference. Salad dressing is too oniony. Family makes me pickup at least once a week.“

“I had a family gathering in Kkotsongi and visited this place after being recommended by an acquaintance. The taste of the charcoal-grilled ribs was great. More than anything. Make sure the manager is attentive and provides side dishes to even the children. Just cover the plate. When eating cold noodles. Go back with new chopsticks. Number of children to see them off and small snacks until they leave. I complimented our manager and promised that we would eat there, so we had a pleasant dinner. Thank you.“

“Great spot to enjoy some naengmyun, refreshing potato-based noodles in a cold broth. They have affordable prices and since it's a self-service restaurant, no tipping is required! We also enjoyed the galbi, but their specialty is definitely the noodles. One can also enjoy some hot broth which is served beside the water. “Mushroom bean sprout dolsot bibimbap was delicious. It is a style of eating mixed with soy sauce bibim sauce rather than red pepper paste bibim sauce. Since there is no tip and it's a cheap place, I thought they wouldn't provide soup or anything like that, but they also came with a bowl of gomguk (kimchi, radish radish kimchi, water, and serving).“

“The BEST Wangmandoo I've been able to find in NJ. I used to get them at street vendors in Seoul, so I get a craving every now and then. The outside of the pork and red bean are a soft pillowy dough. The kimchi have a more traditional wrapping but still large. Prices as of today were 6/$14 and 1/$2.50.“

“I had been craving raw marinated crabs for who even knows how long. So I jumped at the opportunity to go when a friend told me about this place. They do require about an hour and a half notice if you want certain things on the menu, so I would just call in beforehand so that you can order and you don't have to wait there. The raw marinated crab is so good! Both the soy and spicy marinades are delicious, even by themselves on rice. The crabs are so meaty and juicy and creamy. You don't even have to eat it with rice, it's so good on its own. The seafood pancake was a really good side dish to add on. Nothing too special on its own but just nice to have and you can dip it in the soy marinade. The abalone porridge was good, but if you're getting the crabs, I don't think it's really necessary to have. Because you already get rice and seafood. But it's still a good homey porridge.“

Our second time here we were waiting for about 30-40 minutes and who I assume is manager at the host stand came up to us and said he’ll give us a free appetizer and that we could order before we even sit down. “This Iike my 3rd times here with my boyfriend, I can’t believe we found a go to spot like this spot, we drove all the way to NY to NJ just to eat this delicious hot tofu soup. It’s very cheap for it price which comes with rice, appetizers, eggs and the soup itself. It was very fresh and tasty I can feel that every was very flavorful. The customer service was amazing everyone greeted us and wished us a goodnight and have a nice day. Which I felt very welcome and very appreciated it. When I finished some of the appetizers I didn’t expect to them to refills so the women did and I was like wow extra food. !! Since I love their radish. I like to drink tea especially when I eat, I asked them for an ice cup and hot tea which make it ice tea they were checking in my tea and make sure that my tea was refills. We both ordered a tomato soup I believe it’s less than $20 for a tomato soup. Which was very worth it and it’s very refilling the one thing this restaurant beat the others one is their customer services deserve a shout out! And I can taste that the taste of food is very fresh, flavorful, I wish they open one in NYC so that I don’t have to travel all the way to NJ?, but it is worth it on a cold day ! “3 people eat raw fish and it's still too much. I made a reservation, but today I ordered assorted sashimi ($150) instead of tuna... with the sashimi served last... If you eat creamy kaibashira on top of potato pancakes as you instructed, will it taste like gnocchi? The rolls are also delicious.The spicy stew is packaged.The $100 menu is also new... 3 types of Tsugedashi instead of 9 + 1 bottle of soju. If two people come, it's great value for money.----It's always a delicious meal.We ordered Assorted Raw Fish A for 4 adults and 3 teenagers.The new shrimp paste is especially delicious. “I wish I lived closer. I drove to this location from Westchester, NY and it was worth the trip. It was my first time trying Korean food and I'm obsessed. Every single thing was absolutely delicious. The corn dogs and the fried chicken with onions made my weekend. I also tried a variety of drinks, the plum soda and a variety of fruit juices with real fruit. I recommend them all. “One of my go-to places for chicken in Palisades Park. Food is delicious, we always get the Onion Chicken, which is perfect to share with 2-3 people and supplement with something else like bu dae jigae. We went with a group of 4 and had to wait about 15 minutes around 6:30pm to get a table, but it went by quick. Staff was friendly and place is clean and fun decor. Like everywhere in Palisades park, street paid parking is limited but there is free parking in the neighborhood streets if you want to walk further. One of my favorite places to eat at in Palisades Park, can't wait to come back!“

“I wish they had vegan options and more vegetarian options. I used to love Bonchon before I stopped eating meat. I got the fried rice without meat and eggs and it was just ok. The vegetable dumplings had a crunchy exterior but the veggies inside were mushy which gives me the impression they aren’t made in house. “Stopped here on a trip back home, by chance as we stopped at the HMart around the corner. Beautiful space and waitstaff were so welcoming! We weren't up for a big meal but we got the mandoo soup and dumplings for our daughter. I know I probably should have ordered noodles as that is their specialty, but was unsure if it would affect my sugar levels a lot. I guess the mandoo wrappers would have similar effect, so, oh well! We were greeted with a warm broth tea that was delicious, a little salty, but so comforting on the cold day. Loved our mandoo soup! Flavor was so good! My only wish was that the mandoo in the soup was smaller. It was bigger than golf ball size and was a little difficult for me to eat without feeling I was doing so "inelegantly". They were filling too, but so much to bite into. But this is just my personal preference. Overall, great place and great food, with lovely ambiance and wait staff.“
